The Root of It - Thai Prenatal

Being pregnant puts a lot of strain on your body, especially the lower back, shoulders, and hips. It also causes discomfort and even though you may love carrying your child, your body needs relief —it's nice to take a short vacation. That's why we created The Root of It Thai Prenatal Massage. It's a very comfortable massage because Thai floor mats are much more accommodating than a table massage, especially for late-stage pregnancy. Table massages are also available.

With this massage, we focus on the shoulders, lower back, and hips. We don't apply any Thai-style pressure point massage and minimal yoga stretching. Instead, we perform a lot of slow gliding movements with soothing natural coconut oil using light and medium pressure. The goal is a soothing yet firm massage designed to relax your body, release tension, and provide relief to your tired and tied muscles from carrying your child.

Note: For first-time pregnancies, you must be 15 weeks or later, for subsequent pregnancies it's ok to be 12 weeks or later.
